The Sky Is Blue Today, the sky is blue The air is clear and the sun's a' shining Birds in the trees, sweetly a' singing And young hearts flutter with love so true Good ol' time music fills the air Freedom of fair and innocent hearts From laughing and smiling sweethearts Love is truly in the air Trees a' swaying lazily in the wind Waves a' rolling lazily in Noisy children happily a' playing There's me, the world and my friend The mountains afar, blue and clear A lone eagle on the breeze, soaring Flowers pretty, fragrant and blooming And today, I shall have no fear For a beautiful heart-warming day How can I believe, and imagine This world full of ugliness and destruction Can exist, with beauty and goodness everyday As long as the sky is blue There is still hope for me For I will always be free Just as long as the sky is blue B.V Phillip
